funerals and celebrations of life
SAY FAREWELL. YOUR WAY.
Funerals celebrate the end of a life.
This celebration can take many forms.
If you are here because you have recently lost someone dear to you, I am so sorry.
I know that navigating grief alongside planning a funeral can be difficult. Finding the right words to capture a life and a legacy is an important task, and I want to offer my support in creating a celebration of life that honours your loved one.
As a celebrant, I am honoured to be a part of the process of saying farewell to someone who has passed away. With your guidance, I will write and deliver a ceremony that feels right for your loved one.
In some cases, a thoughtful and traditional funeral is the perfect way to say goodbye. But a celebration of life might also have love, joy and laughter at its centre, and as an independent celebrant, I can lead you through a ceremony that pays tribute in a positive way.

funeral celebrant services
funerals and celebrations of life
A celebrant-led funeral is simply a funeral service led by an independent professional, allowing you to choose the themes and wording of the entire ceremony. You’ll advise on what you want included in the service and I’ll put the whole thing together and deliver it in your chosen location.
If you’re in contact with a funeral director then you might select a celebrant from their list of recommended professionals. But you might also independently choose a celebrant like me, who specialises in delivering funeral ceremonies that creatively honour the individual and their personality. I will then work alongside your funeral director, so you don’t need to worry about any of the admin yourself.

burials
Whilst many funerals are followed by cremation, some may take place outdoors so that the deceased can be buried. As a celebrant, I can lead a funeral service that takes place at a graveside, or plan a ceremony that moves to a burial place for the closing moments.
interments
If your loved one has been cremated, they may have expressed a wish to have their ashes buried. An interment ceremony is usually a shorter service that honours the deceased for the last time and commits them to their final resting place.

living funerals
Celebrations of life don’t need to take place when your loved one has passed away. An increasingly popular option for those who know their time is limited is a living funeral, where they can say goodbye on their own terms.
If you’re thinking about a living funeral, I’d be honoured to help you plan one.

funeral Locations
I’m a Bristol funeral celebrant, and work with several different crematoriums in the surrounding area. If you’re planning a funeral in Bristol, I would be honoured to lead the ceremony.
Plenty of people choose to hold a funeral at a local crematorium. But when it comes to funeral locations, you have a lot more choice than you might realise.
From beloved gardens to favourite pubs or significant scenic spots, I can help you plan a funeral in a location that really honours the person who has passed away.
